Build Canada Homes aims to build 4,000 housing units on federal land

The new Build Canada Homes agency will oversee the construction of 4,000 affordable homes on six federal sites in cities including Dartmouth, Ottawa, Toronto, and Edmonton, backed by a $13 billion budget. It aims to lower building costs, speed up permits, and use modern construction methods like modular and factory-built homes.
